The result handed the Florida outfit a 5-3 win on aggregate and set up a quarterfinal clash against an unconfirmed opponent over two legs on April 2 and 9. "We didn't want to run a risk," Martino told reporters after the match. "We tried to see if he could go a little longer, but we preferred for him to get out of the game." Inter Miami will train on Friday before traveling to Washington for the next day's match at Audi Field.
